Children should always eat regularly 3 times a day. In addition, they often also provide snacks throughout the day which has fewer calories. However if they eat too many snacks is going to be too much at risk of obesity due to too many calories, sugar and fat. Unhealthy snacks may lead to cavities, especially if eating sticky foods for example fruit snacks or candy.

Getting your kids to eat healthy can be difficult. But making healthy snacks into shapes to ensure they are fun can do the trick. We like anything bug related. We chose to put together the best of the best. Here are some of our favorite healthy snacks for the little bug-lover. Check out these bugs your kids can eat.

Lite Popcorn

Popcorn is simple to prepare and tastes good. Popcorn is high in fiber, so it makes a good snack. You may choose brands that are lower in fat and salt or buy a microwave popcorn popper.

Smoothies

Smoothies are a good snack because you can play with different flavor combinations and customize these to what your kids like. Healthy Smoothie combines mixed berries, bananas, grapes, nonfat Greek yogurt and honey. You can throw in some flaxseed for added fiber and omega-3 fatty acids.

Bread and Peanut Butter

Switch from white to brown bread or try seed bread or whole wheat bread. They may not like it initially, but once they get used to it, they'll prefer it. Spread some peanut butter around the bread - it adds proteins and healthy fats and tastes good, so children enjoy it. You can also enjoy other types of butters for example soy nut butter, almond butter and cashew butter.

Fruits

The majority of the fruits have good shelf life. Fruits can be served as whole or they may be cubed or sliced andor chilled. You are able to prepare sauces, jams and juices using fruits and store them with the help of natural preservatives.

Vegetables

Vegetables works well in the form of salads, curries, and fries. Raw vegetables works well with dips. Try to make low-fat or fat less bandages like fat-free. Also, you can test out serving boiled vegetables by sprinkling some authentic and aromatic spices, which the majority of the kids like.
